About Vice Chancellor

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Syed Sakhawat Shah, during his address in the convocation held on May 6, 2010 and in different Academic Meetings specifically emphasized improving quality of education, and assured that the Hazara University was committed to bring the standards of education at par with international norms.  This commitment has already been partially promoted with the establishment of a Quality Enhancement Cell.

NEED OF QUALITY ENHANCEMENT CELL

Quality Enhancement Cell is one of the initiatives of the Higher Education Commission; with the need to bridge the gap in order to earn international recognition of our degrees and to develop the knowledge based economy. The Hazara University established the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) in second phase to introduce and implement the procedures and systematic standards, for monitoring and evaluating the various aspects of a project, service, or facility to ensure that standards of quality are being met.

In accordance with the guidelines of HEC, the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) is aggressively working in the direction for developing policies and procedures to improve the quality of education. The Quality Assessment is a systematic process of gathering, reviewing and using important quantitative and qualitative data and information from multiple and diverse sources about educational programs. This will also help to improve the learning skills of the students, and also evaluating whether academic and learning standards are being met.
