M.Phil Communication and Media Studies

The main objective of the M.Phil program in Communication and Media Studies is to prepare the graduates for multiple positions in professional and administrative cadres in industry, academia, commerce, civil service and many different jobs in media, arts and NGO sectors. The course offers deep theoretical foundations and insights into the field of journalism and its repercussions on society. This post-graduate program aims at equipping the learners with research skills, techniques and approaches to communication. It also aims at discovering the diverse ways through which human beings communicate, giving deep realization and use of language to communicate in formal and informal situations. It enables the scholar to look at ways in which mass communication affects human relationships.
