    THE VENUE

Hazara University is a public sector university, founded in 2001. It is situated on the crossroads of the ancient civilization of Gandhara and Ashoka and facing the Silk Route, on the outskirts of Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is occupying an important location on CPEC route. The campus has a serene, peaceful, rural and pollution free environment. The patches of the green pines across the sprawling campus enhanced its natural location and accentuate the harmonious calm of its location.

The Emblem has snow-covered mountains of Kaghan in the backdrop and the Siran River in the foreground, having Deodar trees on its bank. Deodar tree has the symbolic significance of slow, steady and sure growth spreading over centuries.
